“As an introvert I have always loved deep and meaningful conversation. I want to truly get to know another person’s experience— to cultivate connection.”

A Note on Insurance

You may have noticed I haven’t mentioned insurance…. That’s because I do not accept insurance. I am willing to provide a SuperBill for you to submit to your insurance for Out-of-Network coverage.

I have joined with Open Path to offer a select number of sliding scale, or reduced fee, spots in my practice. If you are interested in working with me, but are experiencing a financial hardship that would prevent you from paying my full fee, Open Path is available to help qualify you for reduced fee sessions.

What is Gottman Method?

The Gottman Method of Couples Therapy is based on Dr. John Gottman’s research that began in the 1970’s and continues to this day. The research has focused on what makes relationships success of fail. From this research, Drs. John and Julie Gottman have created a method of therapy that emphasizes a “nuts-and-bolts” approach to improving clients’ relationships.

This method is designed to help teach specific tools to deepen friendship and intimacy in your relationship. To help you productively manage conflict, you will be given methods to manage “resolvable problems” and dialogue about “gridlocked” (or perpetual) issues. We will also work together to help you appreciate your relationship’s strengths and to gently navigate through its vulnerabilities. Gottman Method Couples Therapy of consists of five parts: Assessment, Treatment, “Phasing Out of Therapy, Termination, Outcome Evaluation. Visit the Gottman’s website to find more valuable information and sign up for their monthly newletters.
